This modular type of learning is a big help for us dentists who are in the province. I waited for PEDOCOP to be conducted again in Cebu because it is more accessible than traveling and staying in Manila but then the pandemic came. I really wanted to learn more and study more about Pediatric Dentistry. When PEDOCOP was advertised during the 30th PPDSI Annual Convention, I was very excited! Thank you, Doctors for making this possible. The underprivileged children in Visayas and Mindanao need dentists who are knowledgeable and passionate in the field of Pedodontics.
Q: I finished Module 1 in two days. Do I have to wait for five more days for me to enroll in Module 2?
A: No. If you finished Module 1, you may proceed to enroll to Module 2 at any time you wish to. Your access to Module will still be one week from your date of enrollment.
Q: I have paid for the module and sent my proof of payment. I still have not received a letter of confirmation. What do I do?
A: Confirmation letters are sent after 24 hours to allow our staff to verify your payment. (Please note our staff works from Mondays to Saturdays. Please allow 2 days if you paid on a Saturday.)
Please make sure that you typed in the right account number (Security Bank Account No.: 0041-0076-87001) or GCash QR Code when paying. We are not liable if you typed in the wrong account number or phone number.
Q: I am having trouble accessing the modules. What can I do?
A: All lectures are web-based. All you need is an internet connection. If you believe that you have a strong internet connection and cannot still access it, the website might be on a scheduled maintenance. From time to time, the website will be maintained and cleaned, which will briefly take the website offline. This will take an hour or two. Please come back after a few hours.
Q: I am currently staying in another country. Can I enroll in PEDOCOP Theory?
A: As long as you have a PRC license in dentistry, you may enroll in PEDOCOP. You may listen to the PEDOCOP Theory modules anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection.
Q: Do I need to answer the post-test questions?
A: Yes. The post-test questions help you learn the key points of the lecture. Therefore, it is required that you get most of the answers correct before you move on to the next lecture. If you fail the post-test, you may take it again and again.
Q: Can I take screenshots of the slides?
A: While you may take screenshots of the slides, please be reminded that these can only be for your personal use. This is the intellectual property of the Pediatric Dentistry Center Philippines, and therefore it cannot be used for any commercial purpose. We also ask that you be mindful of the Data Privacy Act. We have been granted permission from the parents and caregivers to put the pictures of the children on the slides. However, let us be conscious of their rights and privacy.
Q: Does PEDOCOP have CPD units?
A: No, they don’t but you may apply them for self-directed learning at PRC. The number of hours will be reflected on your certificate.
